Fairshake Invests $7 Million in Crypto-Friendly Political Candidates Across Southern U.S. States
Fairshake, a cryptocurrency industry-backed political action committee, has deployed $7 million to support digital asset-aligned candidates in Southern U.S. primaries. The PAC's spending yielded significant victories, particularly in Alabama and Kentucky, where its endorsed Senate candidates either won decisively or advanced to runoffs.
In Kentucky, Republican Congressman Andy Barr secured over 60% of the vote after a well-funded campaign to succeed Senator Mitch McConnell. Alabama's Barry Moore led his primary by 13 points but faces a runoff after falling short of the 50% threshold. Fairshake spent $7.4 million across these races alone.
The group also targeted four Georgia House districts, though specific outcomes remain pending. "Tonight's six-for-six victories send a bipartisan signal that crypto-friendly leadership is gaining momentum nationwide," said Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter.
